Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers, before you ever have to ask.

Reaching out is hard enough without wondering what you're signing up for. Here's the truth, plainly stated.

Yes. What you tell me stays between us. This work only functions in a space that's genuinely safe — no judgment, no records shared, no surprises. You decide, over time, who else knows your story. That's your call to make, not mine.

No. Iron & Grace is faith-informed — rooted in a belief that people are redeemable and that real transformation is possible — but it isn't a requirement. Whether you're a believer, a Buddhist, an atheist, or still figuring out what you believe, there is a way forward, and we can walk it together.

Then you already know something most people don't: willpower alone doesn't hold. That's not a disqualifier here, it's the starting point. Real change usually begins after a pattern has already proven it won't be talked out of existence by shame or good intentions.

Therapy often looks backward, to understand why. Coaching looks forward, at what you're building next, and holds you to it. I'm not a licensed therapist — if what you're carrying needs clinical care, I'll say so directly and help you find it. What I offer is lived experience, structure, and a relationship built on honesty and follow-through.

One hour, one conversation, no performance required. Some sessions are direct and strategic — naming a pattern, building a plan, setting an actual next step. Others are simply the relief of saying something out loud to someone who won't flinch. Both matter.

You don't need to hit rock bottom before this is for you. Isolation and hidden struggle don't wait for a crisis to start costing you something. If you're asking the question, that's usually answer enough.

Everyone who works with Iron & Grace is on the same core journey — out of the shadows and into real community. The Connection Track has two paths in: The Chainbreakers Path, for anyone whose isolation is tangled up with a compulsive pattern — pornography, substances, gambling, or anything that has quietly taken control — and The Belonging Path, for anyone who feels disconnected or unable to build the relationships they long for, no specific pattern required. If you're not sure which is yours, reach out anyway — that's exactly what the first conversation is for.

Packages are outlined on the Coaching Packages page, and every price reflects real, ongoing 1:1 time. If the standard packages don't fit your season of life, say so — flexible sessions and payment schedules are available, and always worth asking about.

Remote, nationwide — by video or phone, wherever you are. Distance has never been the real barrier to this work; avoidance is. Being remote just removes one more excuse.
